View Full Version : Front Number Plates
I'm setting up an Aprilia RSV1000 to race which has an air intake in the center of front fairing similar to a Honda RC51. It doesn't have space to put the numbers in the center, but to either the left and right. Should I put the numbers (319) on both the left and right side or only one side?
Thanks,
Vito

At MSR they will be scoreing on the inside of the track or on the left side.

Thanks Norm. Are there tracks that will be scored on the right side, that I should go ahead and put numbers on both sides?

Vito

Vito,
Putting them on the sides is fine. Please use the smaller size numbers. I do score off of the right side of the bike once-- at Hallett when we run it counter race direction. When we run the opposite way at MSR, we switch sides of the track for our safety.

Thanks, Just so I'm clear and don't mess it up; put the numbers on the left and right side of the front intake and use the 6" high, smaller numbers.

Vito
