From Metric's website - this is a great deal and a very good value, if you need to upgrade your suspension. Go to www.metricmotorcycles.com (http://www.metricmotorcycles.com) for details or call Andy Marcer, the owner, at 713-334-8030.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Any motorcycle fitted with a non-serviceable rear shock: Metric will sell you a new OHLINS rear shock for below dealer cost, with the purchase of a Race Tech /Draco Metric Front End Modification.

We make a custom-wound set of Draco springs combined with internal valving from Race Tech, we clean and polish the forks internally, finally we replace all the bushings and seals and reassemble the machine. I then personally test the machine and hand it back to you with a guarantee you will love it or we'll do it again until you are satisfied.

So your next question is, "How much is this going to cost?"

A typical front end will cost approximately $700.00. The retail price for the average Ohlins shock is approximately $1050.00.

Let's use an SV650S 2003 as an example. $700.00 for the forks and the price of the rear shock will be $590.00 (INSTALLED ON THE BIKE)

EXCLUDING TAX.. Turn-around time is 2 to 7 days depending on the spring rate chosen and parts availability.

For those who have bikes with serviceable rear shocks, at this time this special does not include those models, we are working on some specials for you too, so please call.

This offer is available to customers outside of Houston who would like to ship the forks to us. Please note that you will receive a shock applicable to your model only. I reserve the right to determine eligibility for this offer and exclude anyone from our special for any reason.

Special offer ends Nov. 1, 2005, so act now!
