KELSEY BEGINS TITLE DEFENSE

RPSRaceTeam.com rider Danny Kelsey began his title defense while enduring a tough set of challenges during the CMRA Sprint Championship Series hosted by Mercedes of Sugarland Raceway located just south of Houston in Angleton, Texas. Kelsey scored a pair of wins and 2 more podium finishes. The event looked like another record weekend for the CMRA and competition looked to be fierce with several riders that looked ready to take advantage of the conditions.

Georgetown, Texas rider Danny S. Kelsey won all five races he entered during the third round of the CMRA Sprint Championship Series held Sunday April 14^th, 2013. Conditions were tricky as racers were greeted with drainage issues that created over 20 areas on the track where water was coming up on the racing line. Kelsey however persevered through the weekend and posted his personal best lap time (1:47.923) on Sunday as conditions improved over the weekend.
