    Endurance on Sunday?

    Why do we always have the endurance race on Saturday and Sprints on Sunday?

    the reason behind it is that sprints as supposed to be the draw and if the sprints were Saturday then many spectators would not come as they would have to pay for 2 days. The number of spectator may not bear this out.

    ps that is what I was told long ago.
