Trophy / Awards Manager - With Roxana Nichols’ transition to full-time teaching, we are in need of a new person to take over the management of trophies and awards for the CMRA in the 2010 season. This position requires a person able to attend all race events on both Saturday and Sunday, keep records of awards and distribute awards to racers at the races. Transition training by Roxana will be provided at the remaining 2009 events as the new person’s schedule allows.
A person that is also able to prepare lunches for staff and corner workers would be a real bonus for us. Food purchasing is not a part of this position.
Manual Scoring – We are also in need of a person to do manual scoring at events. This position requires sharp eyesight and the ability to concentrate for long endurance race sessions. Manual scorers also rotate to the merchandise tent as relief during race events. Experience is always helpful but training will be provide for interested applicants.
CMRA staff are provided a small salary stipend and travel allowance. All income is reported on an IRS 1099 form at the end of the year. Associate Membership is provided for non-racer staff.
