2014 CMRA Licensed Racer 30% Ridesmart Discount

In 2013 Ridesmart's CMRA licensed racer discount was used nearly 200 times and saved members over $10,000 in track day fees and this year we are at it again!

Email randy@ridesmart.info for your 2014 season discount coupon code. Please provide your name and CMRA competition number in the email. This discount is good for licensed racers only. You must have completed your provisional novice requirements to be eligible. The code will be good for 30% off the regular price of any regular event in Level 3 only. This discount may not be combined with any other special promotions.

You can find the 2014 event schedule at www.ridesmart.info (more to come)

The coupon is not good for any special event we may have - only good at TWS, MSR, MSRH, and ECR.

Please be sure to thank Dave Wonders for his generosity and continued support of our membership.

Will there be anything offered to us mini racers who are stuck in Level 2 by default?

I have the same question as Dennis. As Ninja 250 riders, we have no choice but level 2.

    Thanks Randy.

RideSmart doesn't permit 250's in L3? That's news to me. I haven't done but 3 trackdays in a year or so, but I recall seeing a 250 in L3 at the 1.7 at MSR a couple years ago, and he was tearing it up. Guess the rules changed.

I could maybe see Cresson but there's no way it would work at MSRH, TWS, or ECR. Closing speeds are just too much. 95-100mph vs 150-170 on some of the straights is no good.

Dennis is right, 70 MPH difference on main straights is a bad time for everybody. Big bikes aren't used to passing 250s every lap and as a result some dangerous overtakes have happened due to lack of that experience. I recall some scary maneuvers on entry to the MSRH carousel that I don't want happening again to myself or anyone else.

RideSmart let me ride a 250 in L3 at TWS and MSRH but as the speeds rise towards lunchtime I bumped down to L2 at the request of some (reasonably) upset CMRA guys and my own discomfort.

If you email me I can generally get you in L2 depending on signup. Or sign up for L3 and drop down at lunch.
