Wow, What a weekend. I want to thank everyone with the CMRA. What a bunch of amazing people. Not only did they do a great job of managing the “usual” racing event, even with a record number of entries, they also were tasked with a number of additional chores. They had to deal with media, parking, auction, chili cook off, skydivers and airplanes. Not one complaint, nothing but “glad we could help”. They went way out of their way to help. Not only was the racing event a success, the benefit for Capt. Dowling was perfect. We are still gathering and counting but as soon as we get a number, we will let you know how much money was raised for the family….but I do know that because of the CMRA members and staff..it was a success.
