Great Showing by CMRA Racers at Road America AMA Pro

The CMRA was well represented at Road America with four out of the top ten finishers in AMA Pro Supersport race 1 results at Road America.

Dustin Dominguez finished second after qualifying second, but had his work cut out for him on the first few laps. He settled into second but couldn't catch race winner Corey Alexander.

Conner Blevins finished seventh after getting a great start and running in third for two laps. His setup went off but he hung tough. Changes tonight should net better results tomorrow in Race 2.

JC Camacho finished behind Conner in seventh. Just like a CMRA race, JC went with Conner to the front and then latched onto Jason Aguilar for a drafting contest. More to come tomorrow.

Hayden Schultz finished tenth in his first-ever SuperSport race after qualifying 12th. He dropped to 13th mid-race, but moved up in the second half to finish tenth at the end. After the SuperSport race, he qualified sixth for the H-D XR1200 race tomorrow. It should be a drafting war.

Last but certainly not least, Becka Caudle started her first-ever AMA Pro SuperSport race after qualifying 35th yesterday. Big suspension changes to set up the R6 to her tiny self resulted in a much better feeling bike and she raced to a 28th place finish. Expect even better results tomorrow!

Cory West finished ninth in the Superbike race on his EBR 1190RS.

Unfortunately, Danny Eslick crashed on the first lap of the Sportbike race and took quite a tumble. He should be able to race tomorrow.

Kris Lillegard had a rough start, going down on his second lap in the SuperSport race but looked like he was able to get back out there and finish his race.
Ron Mears qualified 25th and finished 18th in the DSB race as well.

It looked like his motor blew on the last lap.

Just to add to the excitement Dustin was cutting faster lap times than the leader but just got a bad start. Can't wait to see the races today!
