Approximately a year ago I moved to Texas, as part of a 3 year rotational program for work(doing three one year rolls in three different locations for the same company). I went to a CMRA race at TWS the first weekend after moving and had a blast but wasn't able to do any more CMRA races until this year and so far I've gone to every round, but unfortunately I'll be moving back to NC in a few weeks and won't be doing any more CMRA races. I just wanted to say that I've had a great time and that the CMRA and the people I've met on race/track day weekends in Texas are awesome and really fast! I'm going to miss this a lot and wish I could stay for longer!
I have to give a big thanks to Josh Henke(yeah, the guy with the excessive beard), and Chris Woolsey for helping me to form my endurance team Slick Willy. We've managed to take a beat up SV650 and a couple of guys who didn't know anything about endurance racing and do pretty well so far this year. We are currently 14th overall in big bike endurance and 2nd in class.
Also huge thanks to everyone that helped me after my high-side in Friday practice this past weekend. Especially Coffey and Griff and who ever else helped me out that I don't remember. I think Coffey defied the laws of physics to pack up my stuff and actually fit everything in my hatchback Mazda 3, lol.
