Hey Thanks Danny, This is exactly what I'm looking for, I'm 52, with a 13 year old son, I have always been an Enduro/Hare Scramble guy but my son just is not that in to it. He wants to try road racing and I have always thought it would be a blast too. I have no Idea what the classes are, and you don't need a license or tech inspection to off road, just show up and sign up in the right CC & Age Class. We went to Hallett and watched the carts Saturday just to check the place out, & will definitely be there for the races in May, ( I wish I could find bikes and gear by then but that does not sound very realistic) If you don't mind I would like to follow you around and learn as much as possible. Thanks for the post! John (Paul) Denny 918 381 6374. We live in Sapulpa, just a few miles from the track.

    Welcome, John Paul & Son!

When you get to Hallett just come by the registration desk in the Finish Line Café building (first floor). Remind me of your forum post, we'll set y'all up with a rule book and other info and get you connected with Danny by hook or crook ;-)

    See ya there!

I'm not sure if you and Danny have been talking offline, but this is what he was talking about in his first post: http://www.cmraracing.com/attachment...8&d=1427403040

And we do have the event coming that you listed above. There will be a riders school on Saturday. Here's a link to the detailed weekend schedule: http://www.cmraracing.com/attachment...0&d=1427998081

I thought I saw Danny using an abacus to calculate their pit stops at TWS.

I think he was just trying to look busy so Colin Edwards would quit bugging him for a selfie.
