    Race engine machine work

What I thought was a bad head gasket on my street 02 Daytona, has turned out to be a smoked set of rings. I'm thinking about having some basic machine work done while I have it apart, like the crank knife edged and rebalanced, a good set of pistons and rings.
    Who would yall recommend?

I would contact Steve Upchurch with RES and ask what he would do.

+1 On Steve Upchurch at RES, he does the best work and he will give you the best advice on which direction to go with your motor. I will also add that he is very easy to deal with and very easy to get in touch with. My experience with him has been nothing less than great, do yourself a favor and give him a call.
