    Think you got the wrong article. That's a Gladius ;)

    Seriously, isn't it just a Gladius renamed? Heavier, slower, even cheaper than SV was. I think the article is making claims of improved power and weight in comparison to the Gladius, not the SV

    I'd say it's about 50/50 SV and Gladius. The big things stopping it from being a "proper" SV are the steel frame and the one-piece seat. That said, claimed power and weight specs are on par with the older SV. Which make it more disappointing that with all their engine-lightening stuff, they didn't go with an aluminum frame and save 10 more pounds. But they need to compete with the FZ-07, which is *crazy* cheap, so I understand.
