I was the handler working 13 (the Launch). I happened to glance over and see a couple bikes down in 12, and the downed riders waving furiously at the oncoming bikes. At that time it wasn't clear to us in 13 why they had gone down or that there was any outside influence. I ran to the edge of the track to display our second yellow flag in 13. By that time a couple more riders went down and it became obvious there was some shizzle on the track so we began waving the flags and motioning to "slow down". It all happened quickly that's for sure!

Anyway this being my first weekend out with CMRA I can't comment on past events but I do know the lights were good peace-of-mind, just knowing they were 100% real-time. I appreciate them.
