    Toyhauler/RV repair in Houston?

Got a phone call from my storage facility that my toy hauler was stolen, turns out it was just broken into and everything stolen out of it (not really a relief)

Insurance is wanting me to take it to the "shop of my choice" to get the estimate and repairs done. Can anyone recommend a shop or dealer to go in the Houston Area? From looking at it, it's just the side door pried open, lock bars taken off the back ramp door, a window broken and misc damage inside so I don't think it's really that involved. Again, insurance is paying so I'm not so concerned about cost as I am getting it fixed properly.

I'm also debating on dropping the claim for the trailer damage and fixing it myself. If all I need are new locks and hardware plus a side window I don't know if it's worth the $250 deductible. Anyone ever dealt with something like this?

Unfortunately Dennis I have been there (about a year and a half ago) and wish I could recommend someone good in your area. In my case they just crowbarred the heck out of the door frame and when they couldn't get in that way the just smashed it until it finally gave. In my case they took all the stereo equipment, tv, fridge and tore up the cabinets in the process. It ended up being over 7 grand to repair and 1500 out of my pocket. My shop did not do the work to my satisfaction and had to go back several times and I am still not 100% with it but finally gave up since everything that was left was minor stuff. Good luck and hope you find a good shop to deal with.

Nedd got locked INSIDE his RV at TWS. The whole lock came apart and we all had to help get him out.
