Endurance Race CW AND CCW

Just an idea, but logistically speaking how hard would it be to do a 6 hr CW and CCW endurance race? Basically the way I see it going down is...

Start the race and throw the checkered at the 3 hr mark. Based on your positions from the first 3 hrs, we would re-grid and run the last 3 hrs in the opposite direction. Thought about this on the drive home from Hallett. No, I didn't hit my head this weekend either. And I understand this would only be an option at Cresson, but I thought this might make things a little more interesting. Not to say endurance racing isn't already interesting.

I've seen boat races do something similar, they didn't reverse course, but reversed the fields and restarted... that always made for some good racing.

This would be awesome. It would require a 30 minute practice session each direction also. I would be down for that. I know somethings are easier said than done but it sounds like a blast. Maybe even consider paying some points for the 3 hour finishes.
