Aka "bleeping" mosquitos the size of your transponder (side note: don't forget to charge your transponder!). These little rat bastards strike at the stroke of dusk and do not take no for an answer. Bring the heavy duty mosquito repellents, the victims of the homemade remedies can be seen on the mosquito wall of fame/shame at the edge of the swamp.
They carry disease, as one of our members was unfortunately introduced to a few years ago.
