AMB 260 not fully charging

Ive had an AMB 260, old style, transponder for several seasons now. I do my best to charge it every month and it usually holds a 4 day charge.

The last 2 times I have charged it the light will only blink green 3 times. I think the battery might be going bad. Some of the battery replacement instructions I've seen online are a little harsh.

Anyone have a good DIY link or instructions rather than sending this thing off to get someone else to do it?

I sent mine out to a guy in San Antonio. He fixed it for $45(mention you're a CMRA racer). Worth it!

Im not having any luck locating that business on google maps under Mueller Toys near San Antonio. If you have an address or link handy i will keep them in mind if I can't find a way to do this myself.

Brandon - In some thread on here Nancy posted a way to bring your AMB back from near death. Maybe the same procedure can bring yours back to full charging capacity. I did it to mine and worked perfectly, haven't had an issue in the year or two since I did it.

Thanks for the recommendation on Mueller, they must be buying up local ad words because they are the first result now for "amb 260 cradle charger". ask me how i know lol.
