Safety Wiring - What did I miss?

    2005 gsxr 600. I've wired the following:

    oil drain bolt
    oil filter
    oil cap
    radiator cap
    axle pinch bolts
    front axle
caliper mounting bolts front and rear
fork pinch bolts top and middle
    clip on pinch bolts
    exhaust hanger
    shifter pinch bolt
    fork drain bolts
rear axle castle nut is secured with R-pin
banjo bolts and crank bolt cover are siliconed

i dont see a water pump drain bolt. i just detached the hose from the water pump to drain it. do i need to use a flat head pipe clamp and secure that like the oil filter clamp?

i also don't see any oil cooling line bolts, but i do see 4 bolts holding the oil cooler onto the case. should i wire those bolts?

Anything else you guys can think of that I should do, or am required to do, that I missed? Thanks

Safety Wiring - What did I miss?

It looks like you wired a lot more than what is required by the rules, but that is not a bad thing.

For the water, check the bottom bolt on the water pump to see if there is a copper washer behind it. That is likely your water drain. The bolt will likely be a smaller bolt (~8mm) and look just like the rest of them that mounts the water pump. This one has to be safety wired. Several people got turned away from tech last year because it was not safety wired.

I cannot find that bolt. Here is the water pump assembly. None of them appear to be drain bolts.

I just sold my 05 600 and there is indeed a drain bolt for the radiator fluid, but I don't recall exactly where it is.

I'm not sure your diagram shows it...

See the photos below, with what should be the water pump drain bolt circled in red. I don't know if they are from your specific model year, but they should all be similar.

Its that bolt right above the one circled,on the upper portion of the pump, it should have a brass type crush washer.

    Thanks for all the replies.

This is a pic of my water pump. There are 4 bolts around it. I removed them each and none of them drain fluid from the cooling system.

All of the hits on Google state there is no drain plug, and you drain it using the hose.

It seems the consensus is that the 2005 does not have a drain bolt. The manual even says to disconnect the host for draining.

There is, however, a bleeder screw on the rear of the motor, underneath the gas tank. I went ahead and safety wired this just in case. Pic of said screw below (8mm hex with philips head):
