    clipons for '06+ GSXR600 / GSXR750 forks. Do normal 50mm clipons work?

Woodcraft offers standard 50mm clipons AND staggered 50/48mm clipons for the 2006 to 2010 (maybe further) Suzuki GSXR600 and GSXR750. It doesn't seem like Vortex offers the staggered option. I'm interested to know if it really matters much which option one chooses (staggered or not). It likely depends on the suspension setup (fork height) as I know the top of the forks where the top triple clamps is 50mm. If it does matter in a typical suspension setup, what solutions are reasonable (maybe just sliding a 1mm shim in there)?

I run the 50/50 setup. When the forks are at stock height or when lowering the front the 48 works because the diameter change. Very commonly on the the gsxr's we raise the front though and the bigger clamps are needed.

All the 06/07 GSXR I see racing needed cap extenders and to be raised in the front. The SV with GSXR forks may have a different set up for the front end ride height. My GSXR had the 50mm Woodcraft clip ons. I would find out if you will have enough meat below the triples for the 50mm or if you need the 48mm. You suspension tuner should have an idea or you could ask Felio.
