Harbor Freight Now Has 3500w Inverter

For those looking for a cheap and quiet generator, whether just getting into the sport or looking to get rid of your freight train contraption. Harbor Freight just released a 3500watt inverter model for $700, $650 with coupon. A lot of people I know use the Harbor Freight gen sets and there are little, if any problems. Locking wheels, Electric start and even parallel capable with another generator.

My predator 4000/3200 has been running strong for over 4 years. Still starts on the first pull. Predator is a good brand.

Yeah, I don't think they would weigh them full of fluid though.
Wonder where the extra weight comes from.

I was just looking at this on Saturday night after our generator would stay running that evening. Turned out to be low on oil, but I am not out of the market quite yet. I had just filled it up a couple weekends ago and hadn't run it since then, but after 36 hours 75% of the oil was gone and it wasn't on the ground.

Here's a coupon that brings it to $650 through August 6. If the link doesn't work, send me a PM and I can forward you the email. http://widgets.harborfreight.com/wsw...11&single=true

    I'm really tempted...and I don't even ride anymore, haha.

Metal vs plastic. The honda probably has a lot more insulation as well, honda is rated at 49db at 25% and 58 @ Full load. The Harbor Freight says 57db but doesn't say what load, they do state 25% load run times so that may be the difference.

At worst it's 1/2 the quality for 1/3 the price.
