Is the 8-hour in March going to be an issue with daylight since DST isn't until Sunday that weekend?

If they have to call the race early, then that's what they'll do. Last year's NOLA ULWE ran something like 7.5 hours. Still pretty good.

We'll get started as early as possible to make sure we get it all in. Lessons learned.

10am-6pm was the race time for this yr-2017 and sun sets at 6:05 for 2018! In a perfect situation, it would work. But this yr-2017, the race started approximately 40 mins late, around 10:40. We had a race stoppage of approximately 28mins and the race ended right at sunset of 6:03ish. So the race lasted 7:23 including the 28mins of race stoppage. So less than 7 hrs on track with bikes in motion.

I like it! Glad I got started early, I thought we might be racing CE in April, but wasn't going to chance it. Thank you!

    Walter,

Will we get a preview of the sprint lineup and rotation prior to the publication of the detailed event schedule for the first round?

I only ask because the race lineup determines if I need to take a particular monday off due to travel depending on distance to track. My job, as you know, requires me to have adequate rest prior to going on duty. I need to get my vacay time approved and this will help without changes down the road if possible. Just round 1 would be helpful as I can figure out the rotation and effect for the remainder of the year.

    If not biggie just asking
