They are $20-25 each on amazon and you can usually get them next day. The closer you can stay to the model UV-5R the easier it is for me to program.

The Baofeng site says the UV-5R is discontinued but I bet there's still plenty out there. And apparently any -5 in this list is the same other than cosmetic differences:
