    44 degrees outside and slicks?

what do you do when the temp is going to be 44 degrees? 600cc, solo30, owns slicks, rain tires and a set of Q3's. I was thinking I would not be able to keep the heat in the slicks and too dry for rains. at least get good traction with Q3's. Opinions from those who have been there done that.

Where are you racing that it’s 44*? I’m reading 35 here at MSR!

My opinion is it’s cold enough and wet enough currently to run rains. Otherwise, seems like you might as well run the Q3

FWIW I did run Bridgestone slicks on my SV in Solo 30 (Saturday - approx. 37-39 degrees out) and ran a 1:33 with no issues. I had street tires on the ready though... LOL
