Shinko tires????

I may be bringing up old info but I'm new to CMRA. I'm thinking about running Shinko tires, the 003 or the 010 Apex. At my level I probably don't need slicks although I'm sure they would help. What Is the general consensus on the Shinko quality?

Do yourself a favor and run tires from one of our CMRA tire vendors.
The price will be cheaper than crash repairs and less time consuming !!!
Our tire vendors will give you support and advice on pressures and setup at the race track PLUS free installation and balancing !

He hasn't made it to many races this year, and seeing as how his trailer and bikes got stolen from his shop last month I really doubt he'll be there. I can shoot him a text and find out.
