Is a clutch return cable required?

Thinking of buying this throttle kit but want to make sure it's safety and superstock legal. I searched manual and did not find any explicit mention so just making sure.

    thanks

The return cable is a safety feature that gives the rider the ability to close the throttle manually in the event that the throttle sticks open. Removing it is not a good idea.

Thanks Walter, I'll look for other throttle options.
