Race 7 is Team 60 & Race 8 is SuperTeams. The way that I am reading it, and I very well may be wrong, is Race 7 and Race 8 would be Group 7 and 8 getting practice, is that correct?

I don't think so. Friday Practice is 1-6 then Saturday Practice is 7 & 8 then Sunday is 9 & 10. I think that is just the overall weekend practice session number.

no, Groups 1-6 are the Friday practice sessions, 7&8 are Saturday, and 9&10 are Sunday.

Thanks for the hard work of not only getting this out early, but finding what seems to be a reasonable mix of Saturday and Sunday classes. I'm sure that there will be some stuff that needs tweaking but I'm exited for the new format and to see how it works out.

IMHO it would increase participation in the superteams if it was in the morning. That way it could be used as practice.
