    Question Bylaws?

Can someone guide me through the new / current website menu to the page that has a link to the Bylaws for download?

I found it awhile back but it now eludes me. Seems that oughta be an item that members can find fairly easily.

    Thank You.

I think this is something that was missed in moving over documents. I will get on this shortly.

Legal documents are/were located here located here -

    http://www.cmraracing.com/about/

From the top menu, just click "About Us". If there was a browser issue where someone was not able to access this part of the site, please send me a screenshot and some information.

On migrating the website, I made the decision to not locate these with "forms" as they are not "forms". These have been here since the website went live. The old forms page was a little hard on the eyes, especially on a mobile device. Previously, I believe we were working around serving content on vBulletin which is forum software.

I'll see if I can make the location more clear going forward.

The bylaws published were 2017 - that is my fault 100% - I put up a copy I had on my laptop and incorrectly thought it is the most recent.

I have put up the 2018 bylaws AND 2017 bylaws on this page for extra transparency.

I have also put a note on the top of the new forms page saying where these documents are located:

"Looking for legal information on the club? See "About Us"."

Please believe me when I say there was no ill intent here - the Bylaws were there since the start. I will do another eyeball against what was on the forms page previously and make sure there is nothing missing.

Those interested in the history of the club website through the years, check out the "Internet Archive". The service hasn't done a snapshot of the new site yet, but you can see the old sites back to 1999 - there is some interesting materials here:

    February 2019 site snapshot:

    1999 site snapshot:
    http://web.archive.org/web/199911160...mraracing.com/

    All snapshots: http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.cmraracing.com

The 1999 site has "YSR Tips/Techniques". Pretty interesting stuff here.

There was some PDF documents missing between the old Feb 2019 snapshot and the current live site...things like Staff Application Forms, License School Application Form - older copies of the bylaws going back to 2011.

I will fix this. I can create an archive page to contain old copies of things like rulebooks, bylaws etc.

    Please accept my apologies.

Ah, there all along (I thought I had found it peviously on the new website, and indeed I had). Totally my ineptitude ... for some reason I'm drawn to skip the upper-level button when a drop-down appears below it.

Thanks for the refresher / reminder, Rab.

I do appreciate your efforts on the new website, it's nice IMO.

Such notion never even entered my mind. It's sad that possibility seems to be read into innocent questions / comments so often these days.

Thanks. Yeah I didn't see you as suggesting any wrongdoing, just wanted to state out loud that it was a simple mistake of mine.

The latest are up now with an archive page too.
