AMA CLARIFICATION:

There has still been some confusion. Please note: you can apply for your license without the AMA member number. HOWEVER, you cannot participate in any CMRA events without providing us with the AMA member number. I would NOT wait until the day of your first race. You will NOT receive the member number or even an immediate email once you apply. Please give your self a solid week to apply for your AMA member number before your first race. REPEAT... you can submit your license application with us without the AMA member number, but you cannot race without it. Do not wait until the day of your first race. You will not be able to provide us with an AMA number or email if you try to do it day of. It takes some days to process.
