I see practices are broken down into "Group A" and "Group B" - is that code for Novice/Expert? Or is there some new practice classification that's yet to be announced?
Practice groups will be separated based on laptime data from 2019. For each track we will set a cutoff time. Riders with times above the cutoff will go to group B riders below the cutoff will go to Group A.
Keep in mind that this is a test. For this to work it will require riders to be honest about their times when declaring their practice group. We will be posting practice times after each session in the tech area and will move riders to different groups as needed.
