    Ninja 400 gearing

Just bought a 2021 model. Does anyone care to share their gearing for the different tracks?

For MSRH 15/43 is my choice. I think it gets 3’rd perfect for the Key Hole through Bus Stop.

right off top of my head....3.05 to 3.15 is probably pretty close. Think stock is or at least was around 2.92ish?

I’m sorry, I just realized I said 15/43. That should have been 14/43.

I went with the 14/43 but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Which tire is the 14/43 assuming because the range between a 140 rear and a 160 rear would affect gearing significantly. I note that Pirelli don't make a 150 rear which is the correct tire for this size rim IMHO.

    Ninja 400 gearing

I went down a tooth in the rear to a 14T42. Having it a little taller in 3rd will force me to carry more speed in the middle of the corner.

That’s at ECR which, because of the good surface, carries more corner speed.
