Re: BOMBSHELL: New Austin track in trouble

The (Speed) F1 announcers said, based on FOM, that the track schedule is on time as planned and all funding is there to make it happen. Maybe there's still negotiations with Dorna for hosting MotoGP?

I won't believe any of it until the track is done and there are bikes racing on it.

Re: BOMBSHELL: New Austin track in trouble

The Austin City Council will re-convene at 12:30 on Wednesday 6/29 (today as I write this) to consider the F1 track votes requested by the event organizer.

If you have unlimited bandwidth and time to watch the zoo, live streaming of the meeting is here. .

The agenda items (#1, 2, and 4) are described here.

Unrelated agenda item #3 was adddressed in the morning session, so the afternoon will be all F1 and only F1 issues.

This is good tv. Being on the city council would be fun I think.
