    Race Leather Alterations

I'm looking to start doing track days, in anticipation of taking the CMRA license school. I have bought a set of one piece leathers. I need to get some alterations done to them. I live in Tyler. I'm trying to find someone that can size me and do functional and safe modifications on these. I would prefer someone in Northeast Texas. I want to handle this in person and not try and send them to someone. Do any of you have suggestions. Thanks for the help.

I know you said you didn't want to ship the leathers, but if you're open to that at all, give Amanda Tucker with Speedsport leathers a call. I sent her my Taichi suit after crashing at TWS, she turned it around QUICKLY and it looks as close to new as you could imagine!

She's very fair and easy to work with. She KNOWS what she's doing!

She helped my husband out as well. He bought a used set of leathers that were too big. She had us take pictures and some measurements, we sent everything off to her, and the leathers came back in great shape and fit very well. Would definitely use her again.

How about meeting someone at the track?
Ana Duran lives in Houston but you will catch her at Fastline and Lonestar track days.
She also races during race weekends
She has worked on gloves, leathers, and race boots
I can give you more info if you're interested

How many cows did it take to repair those leathers?
