Streetbike painting RFQ

I've never had anything painted before, but my son got hit on his EX500 (he's fine, thankfully) and he's looking at some options on how to repair. One of those options is buying aftermarket bodywork and painting it. Can anyone give me a ballpark quote on painting the upper fairing, bellypan fairing, tail section (that wraps around to be side panels as well), and tank on an EX500? We're just looking for something a step up from rattle can, no fancy graphics or anything. Prefer stock Kaw green. It's a college bike so... You can reply by PM as I'm not looking to start any kind of bidding war, just trying to get a read on the ballpark cost for such a job.

Roll with rattle can or just as-delivered primer bodywork? Trying to go cheaper than buying OEM bodywork. Actually got insurance money from the guy that hit him but every dollar counts for college boy. Right now, he's just got the lights zip tied to the bent up subframe. Lol

$3 rattle can from walmart/Home Depot. If he has no intentions in keeping the thing for another 3-5 years take the loss when he sells it to the next freshman when he graduates or upgrades bikes. pocket the money for racing, books, or tuition.

But that's just my cheap bastard way of doing it.

David, PM me if you like and I'll send you my number. There are some ways to do this "on the cheap" that don't look like rattle can and are more professional in materials. Remember that if one day he decides to get more prideful about the bike's appearance and have it resprayed that most painters will charge more for bodywork that's been rattle can'd.
