Anyone interested in going to race with the SMRI at Sandia Motorsports Park on June 21st and 22nd. It's only a 9 hour drive.

I was there back in August '00, at one of the first track days they did. Short, tight and very scary layout, concrete everywhere. They did say they were going to try to tweak the configuation some, but I couldn't see how they'd be able to make it much better.

Probably not, it was tight enough in a lot of places that you'd be going just as fast as on a big bike. Couple of turns had concrete walls a foot or so off the track. They may have changed things though, I haven't been back since that one time.Quote:Originally posted by Tracy Kyle Harris:
