Yep, young Bentley McCoy, who probably holds the CMRA record for most crashes in a single lap, has joined the US Navy. He ships out to boot camp Tuesday at noon.

For Dallasites who want one last chance to razz Bentley before he finishes growing-up, we are having an informal going away tonight, 7pm at 10031 Gateway Lane, Dallas, Texas.

Until he drops off the civilian net for 8 weeks, his cell is 214-642-5852

BTW, both he and I know who Rich Desmond is.

Even though I do not know Bentley... I wish him the best! My daughters boyfriend is enlisted in the Navy and presently stationed in Japan. Anybody and everybody who has ever enlisted into any branch of the military is a hero to me!
