Alex update?

Wondering how she's doin. She was flying, awesome riding catching Fault from the NV wave.

She's good!

Initial diagnosis is a small fracture.

Should be back in full force for Cresson.

+1 she'll be ready for cresson!

Alex has a possible (not confirmed) fracture in her left hand near the wrist. She has a badly sprained thumb on the right hand. She also has a tweaked collar bone/shoulder and elbow. She rode very well and we are really proud. I asked her if she would ride tomorrow if something was on the line and she claims yes. Brake out the duct tape.

p.s. she also had a wreck on her bicycle in the pits trying to do a stoppie. Massive bruising to leg and ego. I vote we raise the age of kids on wheels.....lol

good to hear. that was an impressive belly flop she did.

sorry about dropping the bike a few times. i tried to at least set it back down gently. it wasn't moving and bikes were coming. finally got the front brake to let loose after we red flagged it.

Glad to hear everything is ok..I have seen her around the pits this year and didnt know who she was or even seen her ride..and finally figured it all out this weekend..25's on the S.V....THE GIRL IS ROLLIN!!Heck of a job..impressive!

GLad to know she is doing okay, she appears to be as hard headed as some other woman I know. C ya next round.

I'm glad Alex is fine. I feel bad I wasn't at the track to help load the trailer. LOL.

Latest update.....we took Alex in for a follow up. There are no broke or fractured bones in her hand (good news). Instead she has a fractured collar bone.

I will need some duct tape, safety wire, small chicken and some fireworks from Linds to get her ready for Cresson. [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

Glad to hear she is ok. I was just checking out the race results and noticed she had a DNF.

Looking forward to seeing her in Cresson.
