Numbers and Number Boards Question
Ok, I've read the rule book on race numbers and number boards. But, I go to races and track days and I see a lot of numbers and number boards that don't necessarily fit within the "Rule Book". Not going to call anyone out, but my question is how strictly is this enforced? If it's easy to read with the correct background color, is this stringently enforced. A good example, would be a bike with a clean front fairing with no ram air opening, but having a 3" number only on the right side with a yellow background that's just a 1" border around the number. And if I meet the criteria of the correct front fairing number and tail number, can I have a stylized number in a different color and back ground on my belly pan or lower fairing?
