Let's cut right to the chase; I secretly want to be a Motard pilot duking it out with Keith, Staton...and those other 'tards. The reality is I was high on pain killers when I bought this thing and honestly I can't much ride what I've got.
So...this is up for sale. I'll deliver to any round we race at. Would make a great B bike, beginners bike or motard fetish machine. Here are the particulars as they were told to me by the previous owner;
2004 KTM SMR 450
-Top end has 1.5 hours of track riding since rebuild.
-Top end rebuilt with OEM titanium valves (Munn Racing), JE Pistons piston (part #221781) 12.5:1 Compression Ratio, new OEM timing chain, new OEM cam and cam gear
-Current gearing: 13T front; 40T rear
-White Power suspension (Front & Rear); worked on by Roger at OnRoad OffRoad Cycles
-Rear wheel left side has damage from contact with chain; we’ve put in a block to prevent further contact with the wheel (see pics.)
-Custom cross-mount steering damper from a GSXR 600
-Right side bark buster has some damage—still solid (see pics)
-Right side foot peg has slight damage—still functional
-FMF Factory 4.1 full titanium exhaust
-Custom oil catch can
-Fresh oil (10w-40)
-Carbon fiber belly pan
-Pirelli Diablo Superbike slick tires (120/70 front; 160/60 rear)—only two practice sessions and one race
-Right side fork protection sleeve is mildly torn
-Gplus Silicone Radiator Hoses
-EBC brake pads (four race weekends old)
Spares: Stock cam, 14T front sprocket, 41T rear sprocket
-DVD shop manual and DVD repair manual
-All safetywire is to spec.; this bike is ready for track use.
