Hi everyone, I just got my license along with 2 other friends of mine this past Friday at TWS. Hoping to start my racing in 2017. Went to the races yesterday to get a feel for everything, check things out, and see the environment. A ton of very humble and nice racers out there. Very welcoming environment. Needless to say I'm very excited to get started in 2017 with y'all!
PS: thanks again to those who helped me at TWS to get my bike in order for the track day!
Welcome to the addiction! I would suggest going to Houston in a few weeks to corner work for two reasons. First, it would take care of your Prov Nov requirements (provided you have or will submit your license paperwork before then). Second, it would give you some up close time watching the fast guys lines. It will help a lot since the first race of next year will be there as well, so you can get off to a good start.
I'm in Temple. Let me know if you ever need help with bike prep or transportation. I'll also be at MSRH later this month.
Steven, that's actually an awesome idea, thanks. My neighbor I got my license with will be racing that weekend too. So I'll be there anyways. Might as well flag while there.
Jonathan, oh cool! I'll keep it in mind, we typically trailer the bikes down together. However, if they miss out on something I wanna do, I'll keep it in mind and throw you some gas money if space permits! Thanks!
