Was hoping that a new track would make it into the mix... but thankful there's a full schedule.
Thanks for all the work put into this!
Bob
Thanks for getting it out so early. Unfortunately may not be able to make every round next year due to the back-to-back long trips for me, mainly the MSRH/NOLA weekends.
Awesome NOLA twice. I’m excited!!
Thanks for getting this up early!
Two Halletts and Two NOLA's.....i'll start my GoFundMe for fuel now lol. Three MSRH's means i should really do some off season work there! Should be a hoot.
It looks like a fun season for 2018.
For the love of God someone call ECR and tell them to hurry up.
Thanks for the schedule!
Guess Topeka didn’t make the cut?
Brandon- was just out there for a track day and the track is great and actually just scraped the entire track but from what I’ve been told ECR has new management that is wanting to keep the track for members only. Hopefully this changes...
Can’t wait for 2018!
Thanks for getting this up this quick. I dig the schedule.
Kudos for Walter and the BOD !!!! :+1:
Thanks for the early look into next season's schedule. I'm sad there's no Heartland Park on there, and that there are five long trips (MSRH/NOLA) for me... but that doesn't make me any less thankful for your hard work! I'll make all the events I possibly can.
I like this schedule. Great idea to add an extra Msrh and Nola. Seems nice and spread out to share the traveling between the Dallas and Houston members.

HPT? Lord help Kasey on that drive.
Weather forecast for Houston in june EFFING HOT AND HUMID. Thanks for posting early.
When I saw this, i thought, what is he talking about, those 3 MSRH rounds surely help the Houston folks, I may not make all of the rounds due to the mileage this year. Well, I got nerdy and came up with little chart. Turns out those in the Dallas area have the least amount of driving. All mileages are based on major city centers (whereever Google calculates that to be) to the actual track addresses. Of those, Tulsa gets the short stick, but i know there are those in AR, MO, and to a lesser amount LA, that have even more driving to do.

Woo! Dallas FTMFW!
Looks like one-way mileages
Updated to include Shreveport and r/t distance

Not all Hero's wear capes. You're the man Scott.
WW's a 'quick learner'.
Recalling a revision to the MSR scheduled race-direction last season I'm sure that this time the initial schedule will carefully consider series' other-than-sprint ...
 :thumb:
Updated 12/12/17! Due to an unforeseen conflict with another event the Season opening date has been changed to February 9-11.
I might have missed it, but are the rounds for which are BBE and which are ULWE decided yet?
Rain tires should be fine in snow and ice right? Just kidding but early Feb is still bitter cold historically but I understand the change

LOL! luckily there is an MSRH Ridesmart track day on Feb 3 to practice like these guys: https://youtu.be/UxSiH5VonTE
First round at Oakhill in February was always fun. This shouldn't be any different.
I forgot to mention that Dave Wonders has helped us out twice with out 2018 schedule. He moved two Ridesmart events to help us get the weekends we needed. Thank you Dave!!
All Hail Dave !!! Thanks Dave! :+1:
Steve, since you’ve got the spreadsheet already, can you put together stats for travel distance for the two different endurance series, assuming one only attends the rounds they race?
I’m trying to figure out if one series of endurance has to travel more than the other.
I used Steve's numbers, separated out the CE/ULWE rounds and made it round trip.

You can copy the spreadsheet from here, figure out the exact milage between your house and the track to calculate what your miles will be.

I'm playing with the spreadsheet, trying to let you calculate your milage from your own address.
OK all done.
Go here, enter your address, wait a few seconds and it will give you your mileage. If more than one person is using it at once, you can trample each other. Please play nice if that happens.
It uses the google maps API so the address you use must be a valid google maps location. City or address are probably best. If you leave your address in there, other people will see it. Delete it if you care.
