Formula Smack Results...........

Sorry I couldn't get back to you guys earlier, I've been working on my TWS project for days and no time to SMACK!

I hate to mention it, but it seems we need to discuss the F1 race. All I can say is, "My worst fear in road racing has finally come true." How can you be 10 seconds ahead of second place and crash?!?!?!? That's just down-right embarassing! I don't know what the heck I was thinking! Believe me, I beat myself up about it until I'm sick to my stomach. I'm glad I still salvaged a 3rd place out of the deal, but Johnny Boy, I'm sorry you still got 4th. I tried to help you on Saturday but you were too good. Maybe next time.

And Buck - Congrats on your podium! I know you're hyped about it so I won't say anything (right now) to take that away. I'm glad you got a taste of it, so now you need to clear off a whole wall in the living room for all the future trophies. Really, hats off to ya bro, you deserve it.

As I was standing at the end of T1/1A and saw you pull in for tech, then seeing JW come around the corner, I almost jumped out onto the track in front of you, Derrick. Watching you go up the hill to T2... I realized I would have had to do more than that to let JW even get close.

On the other hand, I did enjoy showing JW the stopwatch indicating 0:07.30 (actually, it was 0:07.255). Even before he got his helmet off, I demanded he look at the watch. Puzzled, he asked what that small amount of time meant. I sadly informed him that it was the amount of time that seperated him from his very first podium.

I don't think that you will offer up similar oppertunities in "waiting" for JW as you did at OH, but be forwarned. There is a new fire in that boy's belly.

Alright Ladies, here is the LIST. Or what shall soon be known as the Order of the Underepants, from ASB race #2

In first we have a technical rulling with J-Dub unable to bring his Yami to the line. Go figure. Maybe if I hadn't kept sherman up all night with that Woody, things would have turned out differently for you. I'll leave this open for some discussion as to your fate with the figs.

FFFalconi was very nearly the proveyor of the package, and if indeed J-Dub can't win the favor of the judges. FFFalconi you better put a few more ponies in your YAMI, while you're in there.

Troy Fuller had a most fanciful get off. Still haven't heard from you T-Roy, hope you'll have her back by TWS. Were you using some of that K-Y rim polish or did the stuff I put on Marv's bike rub off on yours? I want to see the video!!

Dangerously close, and the only one so far on the list to actually finish is yours truly, Suck Easily. I would like to take this moment to thank all of my fellow smack pack for this honor. Hey, at least I finished so in this case I'm extra glad I was on a Honda. Reliabily and crappy handling in one great package!

So from this point of the list my personal props go out to Leon Chad. He was again on the gas this week and a very formidable opponent. Look out guys, he's right behind you, just ahead of me. TWS 7/02 .....it's on.

Well, just a quick update . . .

Head is now ok, bike is not so good!

Totaled exhaust, forks, sub frame, body work and other small bits and pieces . . .

The bike and I will be ready for TWS!

As for the video, if I had somewhere to upload it, I would be happy to. Otherwise I will have it at TWS for you to review.
