Wow - If this can get finalized reasonably soon, I will resurrect my endurance team from 2010 (Loose Nuts) for this event. I would be starting from scratch - so will need enough time to build a team, purchase and modify a bike as appropriate and recruit a pit crew. The exciting thing is that it is a blank sheet of paper, right now I am thinking either F2 or Modern Classic.
Let's make this happen!

Been chatting with Ronnie Lunsford about this..... He says it should be 30 hours so we can advertise it as the world's longest and toughest race! 25 hours might serve the same purpose. Everything is bigger in Texas.
We have to be able to snag a fleet of light towers somewhere. How many would we need to get good coverage? 30? 40?

I agree bikes should have headlights but having track lighting would be a ton safer and better.
Like other night racing events, some corners and corner complexes would have some lighting. Not talking about a ton of lighting here. Otherwise, might as well race during the day. Faint of heart need not apply. :)
How about not sprint racing that weekend and have a 12 hour for LWE then the 24 for BBE
And not give the sprinters one last go at tws? As much as I would love to do both a lwe race and bbe endurance race.
