Ride it WFO and you'll be fine.
so, WFO for 300 miles... to break it in... what are you breaking in at that point... that's more like 300 miles WFO to open up the engine for higher speeds! (so not what caused my transmission problem, I take it?)
^^^exactly... loosen that baby up!!!
FWIW... i had a bit of a scary moment on the track this weekend... the tranny locked up and the bike hung up on the rev limiter going into a 1st gear corner... had to stand it up and run around on the grass while trying to figure out what was happening... i finally got it into second gear and was on my way, but, it was a little worrisome for a second or two...
We had twelve bikes on the grid for round six of the Grom Challenge, it was awesome! I never could've imagined the class would grow like it has. Thanks everyone!!

Watching the racing from Rattlesnake was wacky. To me as a spectator, Cresson has been the most exciting venue for Gromania, and Rattlesnake action was amazing. The # of entries helps, as does the fun it appears everyone is having. Thanks for making this happen, everyone.
I had more fun in that race than I did in any of my sprints. So much fun! Now it's time for some serious upgrading and loss of bodyweight (me).
Hmm.. must be time to sell my SV so I can upgrade as well! (well, after I get it back from the shop...)
So this weekend I saw some pretty ridiculously modified groms out there. Would I be anywhere close to competitive with a stock grom? Or will I just get lapped by the fast guys and try not to get in their way too much?
