Have lived in Grapevine for 20+ years. It's close to the airport (10 mins), property has good resale due to the great schools and Grapevine being a popular place to live; good restaurants, historical downtown area, 20mins to downtown Dallas or Fort Worth. I can make it to OHR in 2:45, Cresson and ECR in :50, TWS in 2:45 to 3:00 and Hallet in 4:00+. And last but not least, I have two homes for sale that are in excellent condition (I'm a shameless opportunist!). We're moving to DC. Email me or give me a call John if you have questions you want answered. We'll miss living here and I'm really going to miss everything that is the CMRA.
I like Keiths observation, short and sweet. If you like the Austin area look just outside of Austin. North of Austin you have Georgetown. South you have Kyle and San Marcos. San Marcos is a college town and central to both Austin and San Antonio. The down side would be the distance to the airports from San Marcos.
