Sorry.....way late to the party...
Ignition coil. These crap the bed from time to time. I don't chase them...I replace them all.
Did you find what it was??
No I couldn't replicate the problem.
All the cylinders are firing at idle or with the bike on the stand.
I unhooked all the PC stuff, rode it and it was fine.
Then I hooked it back up one unit at a time and nothing.
I believe it is in the PC somewhere but can't prove it.
I ended up soldering in the PC power cable, even though while testing the clamp was working fine.
The throttle bodies will still make a lot of noise when powered on, but not as often as before.
I am going to listen to some R6's this weekend and see what the deal is.

as my grandpappy used to say; never trust machinery built by a country that never won a war...
I was really hoping ignition coil, but they were good.
The bike only has 7k miles on it and the engine has only about 1,000 miles.
I am guessing it is a connection issue.
