IMO, the ULW Endurance ULGP class should not be Formula rules.
The ULWE should be SS rules.
We know what happened to the BBE when it went to SBK rules.

Hmmm....so I guess this makes my relatively inexpensive and competitive ULWGP supersport 320cc R3 now obsolete?
I could get Spears or somebody else to build me a 42-45 HP motor for an additional $2,000 to $4,000 in parts and labor on top of the 7 large already have in the bike, but I'm not gonna. I am also fortunate enough to be able to swing the purchase of a now-ULWGP-legal Moto 3 bike. With the right rider an NSF250R would rule the class (42-45 HP, super duper braking and handling, and HALF THE WEIGHT), but I'm not gonna because I just can't justify the 17 to 20 large for a used one or the over 30 large for a new one (somebody else might...wink wink nudge nudge!!).
Inevitably, those few people and teams with deep pockets will rule the ULWGP sprint & endurance class until it eventually dies of Big Dollar Disease.
I'll be riding in 500 SS against Ninja 400s and riding up to 500 SB against built Ninja 400s until it stops being fun, then I'll just ride the Friday CMRA track day for giggles and endurance with my buddies on Saturday.
Just to offer a tiny bit of context for that discussion:

Ah, the fuzzy dreams of 'Monday morning', perfect hindsight, and 'what if .....' ..... sigh
I miss you Alan!
