Thanks for giving a quick reply Dan!
Bill,
Dan is exactly right. A regular tender will work perfectly and is in fact what is preferred. The key that the charger must be automatic. Over charging can ruin the battery.

I was surprise at how tiny and light the box was when it came in the mail! Will put it on this week and try at Hallett next weekend.

Matt, thanks for stopping by the pit this weekend. I really appreciated getting to take a look at your product and the time spend talking with you, I think you really have something that is good quality and looks well put together. As I said I will get back to you on the battery as soon as I absorb my expenses from the weekend.

I've got one of these batteries on the Hawk, although I didn't purchase it from Matt. It's an 8 cell, and lasted all day Friday and all day Sunday without being charged during the day at all, and I'm running total loss (no charging system)...they're also a LOT lighter and smaller than stock lead acid batteries...
these batteries are DEFINITELY the bomb diggity!

I put mine in da Ninja and she started right up after a charging. Will try it out at Hallett Sunday!
Does anyone know if it is Superstock legal? I didn't see any mention of aftermarket batteries in the rulebook under the Superstock section.
