Re: Do you support the CMRA?
did all that... no dice...
the install disc would not wipe the C:... said i did not have enough space which made no sense and still does not, so, i had to partition, which, got it running for a bit... now back to nada...
i really want to reformat through dos and then do a totally fresh install, but, it has been years and years since i have worked with dos and i am more than a little leery of it...
i am sure i can take it somewhere and pay the bill to get it working, but, with the time of the year it has not fit into the plans... this thread made me think of it...
Re: Do you support the CMRA?

Bill has used their shipping services for his bikes. Great service.
Thanks!

Depends on what Operating System you have. If you have XP, this article is very helpful (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313348). If it is a laptop, you can pull the harddrive and buy one these USB cases(http://www.google.com/products/catalog?h...amp;os=sellers#), plug the drive into your PC, right-click on the drive in My Computer and Format.
You can do this with a SATA drive too if you get the right kind of USB dock (They work for 2.5" and 3.5" drives). These things are extremely helpful when you need to get data off a harddrive from a busted computer to another harddrive or another PC.

Steven, probably a stupid question but do you work on diesel transmissions too?
Re: Do you support the CMRA?
Yes Ted (and other members), I'm a class sponsor and a transportation broker. I've moved a number of motorcycles...most recently for Bill (Nancy's husband) and Craig Montgomery (a Gixxer 1000 to Saudi Arabia). I've got 18 years in the transportation business and can arrange full truck, rail, ocean, air, LTL, LCL...pretty much everything 1 pallet or bigger. The more business I can generate from the club the easier it is to continue my class sponsorship. ANY contacts you all can provide either personally or if you can refer me to those person(s) who control freight with your companies is greatly appreciated. Working together helps us all, fills the grids, and keeps the CMRA financially healthy!
Re: Do you support the CMRA?
I do replacement cost appraisals, and loss-prevention/minimization inspections, in high value residences for a large well-known and well-respected insurance company (yes, there is such a thing, and my average house is around $4M). 25 years experience, and I give very good realistic reconstruction cost and loss-prevention advice for homeowners (think your house is overinsured? Think again...). I won't go to your house due to conflict-of-interest concerns, but if you bring pictures and descriptions to the track when I'm there, I'll give you a no-BS opinion.
I'm also a PADI Divemaster. Randy Joy is an instructor, so he knows that Divemasters really do all the work...
