You forgot the critical factor: A much better rider is on your SV...
I thought the SV was in the 350 range race ready? I guess not. My bike is probably right at about 400 race-ready, but I'm not entirely sure.

My experience with SVs is that they are about the same as most liter bikes in the +400# range wet.
Jim,take a 1/4 hp router flick it on,rotate it off its axis.do the same with 1/2HP router (about 2lbs difference) youll quickly see , the difference 1/2 lb makes.......(armature weight difference)
Fun fact! According to the rules... It's not eligible for hwt twins..... Just f1..... That is what we were told when we wanted to race in cmra..... Also another fun fact.... Everytime I rode te ebr I had new complete brake system. EVEREYTIME..... Practice, race, roll around the pits...... It is a sweet bike for sure! And I'm glad there is a more affordable bike available!
