Show me your rigs!

I think with the amount of time before the season, and the amount of time and money to be spent on the bike, I won't have much of either to spend on the trailer. Trying to determine the best things to focus on with the time I have available. Here's my short list of pre-season additions:

- Looking at flooring options, yesterday I picked up a box of roll-on epoxy floor at Lowes then put it back. Has anyone gone the epoxy route?

- For lighting I am going to stick some LED "puck lights" around the trailer as a temporary solution.

- Found some used E-track at a good price. I'm going to put a strip down the center to supplement the four D-rings in the corners. This should allow for two bikes to tether okay but I can't afford any nice wheel stands yet. Many people have recommended the Pit Bull chocks.

- I have a couple metal cabinets and a small workbench I plan to mount up, along with hooks and baskets. If anyone has cabinets in their V-nose I'd like to see pics of the setup!

For the puck lights, I bought a 3-pack of 3-LED pucks at Lowes. I was surprised by how well they work in regards to amount of light. I ended up only using 2 of them in my 7x14, one above the door and one in the middle of the roof.

For bike mounting, I have 2 of the $40-50 (sale price) wheel chocks from Harbor Freight. They hold the bike well enough to get off of the bike and do the straps without the bike falling over.

Pit Bull products are top shelf but if you are on a budget, the Harbor Freight wheel chocks are pretty cheap and work great.

Some of their stuff is junk but there's nothing wrong with those wheel chocks...they work great. (put a 900 pound Goldwing on one in my toy hauler and hauled it a couple thousand miles and it work just fine.)

+1. I even use one with my Grom. You cannot go wrong. If you insist on using wheel chocks at least gets the ones from cycle gear. You get what you pay for.

Pull the walls off and insulate first. It makes an amazing difference.

Also, my recommendation is to use small d-rings to secure specific items and only use small portions of etrack where needed. Etrack is heavy and expensive.

I used floor paint with non-skid sand mixed in. It's been durable and can be adult touched up.

This is exact what I have done in the past too. It definitely helps on the times when you're loading or unloading in wet conditions. Have Home Depot or Lowes mix the sand with the paint at their mixing station, then go home and paint it on before the sand has time to settle in the bottom.

+1 on the Cycle Gear stand. I had trouble with all the stands sticking to my tire. I applied some upholstery adhesive to the flat surfaces that contact the tire, then covered them with black felt. Now the tire doesn't stick to the stand.
